The Story

The artists sculpted this handsome bronze applique in response to Dante's Inferno, linking it to their bronze Mask Chandelier, which explores metaphorical masks and true identities. The sconces embody light and darkness, symbolizing knowledge and ignorance. Influenced by the textured surfaces of post-war European bronzes, Dante's wall light reflects shadows of disparity between appearances and reality. Dante's Silver Wall light is finished in an atmospheric antique silver plate.
