The Story

Celebrating the remarkable architecture of grand domes, the Duomo lantern is inspired by the dome of Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, built between 1420 and 1436 to a plan by Filippo Brunelleschi, and still the largest masonry vault in the world. The finish is an authentic verdigris patina achieved through traditional torch patination techniques in the Cox finishing studios.
