Stone Rig

The artist's exploration of weight, tension, and stability resulted in Stone Rig, a name that evokes shipping equipment, apparatus, and engineering. The four stretchers, anchored to mast-like legs, suspend a forged central sphere in a taut embrace. The composition's tension, combined with the ironwork's forged surface texture, brings rhythm and animation to this table. The dark patina of the bronzed iron base is complimented by a striking contemporary top of black and white stone called Sky-Fall.
