The Story
A generously proportioned, forged gilt iron coffee table of restrained design, owing its origin in part to the Anglo-Japanese furniture championed by the likes of Edward Godwin, introducing modern design principles and a fresh aesthetic to furniture making in the late 19th century. The iron-work structure has a continuous forged bark pattern, elegant drop-forged feet, and inset book shelf. The corners have been thoughtfully rounded for both aesthetic impact and practicality, making it easier to navigate your living space. Finished with a rich dark bronze patina and clear low-iron glass top, this table serves as a discreet yet strong anchor in almost any design scheme.
