The Story
Architectural and artisanal in form the Piccolo II is a functional artwork, expertly wrought in the Cox's London forge. The supporting structure and raised gallery to the rear of the desk top, is animated by impressions of the hammer, resonating with the makers rhythm and energy. The faux tortoise-shell wooden tops are reappropriated from reclaimed material.
