The Story
Ancient bronze root vines, intricately sculpted by the artist, evoke the rich mythology associated with vines and roots and their symbolism of growth, fertility, and renewal. With new leaves emerging from the roots support a round tablet of the rarest of British stones. Ball Eye Blue is an unique vein of Limestone-Fluorite conglomerate, quarried in Derbyshire, with a rare pallette, roving from whites and silver to amethysts and Royal Blue. Each Vine Root occasional table in the edition is one-of-a-kind, expertly cast in bronze using the lost wax technique at the Cox London foundry and finished with a warm golden patina by the artists in their patination studio.
