The Story

The artisanal approach to designing follies and grottoes can be traced back hundreds of years. With it, the artists associate a broad spectrum of unique and playful decorative mechanisms, often informed by their natural surroundings. The artistry of their Folly Sofa and Armchair is inspired by such histories. Briar-twig and burr-wood, vermicular rustication and grotto-esque torsion.

The resulting unique bronzed-iron-work lounge armchair is hand-wrought in the Cox's London forge and traditionally upholstered with sprung base and feather filled cushions.
