The Story
A cast bronze chair, with abstracted legs, inspired by those of a young fawn. The initial model was drawn and sculpted by the artist, applying plaster over a welded iron armature, capturing a sense of grace and tension. Thereafter each edition is cast in bronze by the Cox foundry in London, paying meticulous attention to the hand-hewn forms and rugged surface detail.
