Cox London Partners with Victoria Davar for WOW!house Debut

We are delighted to announce our debut room at WOW!house, collaborating on the esteemed entrance hall with interior designer Victoria Davar of Maison Artefact.

Maison Artefact is a London-based antique dealer and interior design practice with antiques at the heart of a contemporary aesthetic. Founder Victoria Davar composes elegant spaces, conjuring atmosphere by pairing the simple with the extraordinary.

Chris and Nicola Cox draw inspiration from their rich heritage in antique dealing and fine art, alongside a deep appreciation for the natural world.

In the true spirit of artistic collaboration, Cox London and Maison Artefact’s entrance hall will instil a sense of storytelling with reference to classical elements and a connection with nature.

“I was over the moon to be working with Cox London, whose ethos and bespoke creations I have so loved for years,” says Davar. “We’ve enjoyed a close working relationship previously as I’ve used several of their incredible pieces in various design projects.” 

“Our goal is to pioneer a sense of wonder; to amaze and inspire by showing the world what extraordinary achievements can be made when our talented industry comes together in such an ambitious and exceptional way,” says Claire German, CEO of Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour.

The Room

Reimagining the classical, connecting architectural form with the organic culminates in Cox London’s new Oak Chandelier spiralling through the ceiling.

We are honoured and excited to be joining a stellar lineup of interior designers, brands, and makers pushing creative boundaries to imagine 21 unique rooms from the ground up. It is set to be a visual feast. We look forward to sharing elements of our journey as this unique project unfurls, saving some surprises for the show.
