Recognised for beautifully diverse handmade lighting and furniture, Cox London was founded in 2005 by Christopher and Nicola Cox who met while studying sculpture at Wimbledon School of Art.
The collection designed by Christopher and Nicola is produced in London by their team of expert craftsmen with care and attention towards detail and hand finishing.
With a comprehensive knowledge of traditional techniques and styles, Cox London are fully committed to creating strong sculptural pieces of good proportion and authentic patina.
The sensitive approach to restoration, genuine patination and design comes not only from years of intense study and hands-on experience, it's also in the blood. The Cox family has been dealing in antiques for three generations and it is this passion for art, design and antiques, that has clearly influenced both the techniques and aesthetic at Cox London.
Every piece in the collection is designed and handmade in-house at the Cox London studio and workshops. A bespoke service is available as well as private commissions and any piece in the collection can be adapted to create versions that suit individual requirements or match any scheme.
The Cox London workshop is open by appointment and examples of the designs can be viewed at the North London studio.
